The voice of "Chicken” is rough and ready and very like that of the legendary Bon Scott. Drummer Garrelt Riepelmeier and bassman "Stew” Haverkamp get everyone in the groove. The guitars from Christian Sender and Peter Koller round it all of to perfection.

BIG BALLS from Eastwestfalia (where ever the fuck that is - the translator) was formed by "Chicken" and former guitarist Dirk Reinking. The band play a whole bunch of songs which were recorded by AC/DC in the 70's with Bon Scott, but do not consider themselves a pure coverband. Over the years their own hardrockandroll charakter chrystalised out of the five musicians from Minden and surrounding area. The CD released in 1997 (distributed by Maple Leaf Records, Augsburg) which includes their own material confirms this in an impressive way.
	The band from Minden/Germany have been presenting their AC/DC coverprogramm in and around Germany since 1992. During their concerts, which are up to 3 1/2 hours, well known hits from the Bon Scott era as well as originals from their CDs are to be heard. Behind shouter "Chicken" who has an amazing resemblance to Bon Scott, drummer Garrelt and bassist "Hafer" produce the faithfull groove. The guitars from Peter and Christian supply the rest.
BIG BALLS have supported names at the Harley Jamboree in Berlin such as Roger Chapman and Skew Siskin, as well as the Rodgau Monotones at the Rockspektakel in Harsewinkel near Guetersloh and, of course, played at the AC/DC fan meeting in Trebur near Frankfurt. BIG BALLS rank amongst the best AC/DC cover bands in Germany. The beginning of 1998 brought changes to the line-up and with a new crew they have produced around sixty shows at biker parties and open airs successfully. Those who would like a live impression of the band, the 1999 released CD "Live and high voltaged" is warmly recommended.
